Vida is one of my most prized possessions! Well bred Brown Swiss are just so incredibly hard to come by in Texas, so this girl made her way here all the way from Wisconsin! I fell in love with this breed and she is everything they are supposed to be - sweet natured, docile, laid back, and GIANT. I just adore her and she is absolutely beautiful to boot!
But she’s not just a pretty face, this girl is a work horse!! Vida came to me from a dairy where she milked 13 gallons a DAY on her last milk test! She is a perfect lady in the stocks and just a joy to work with!

She had her first calf April 2024 and has been an absolute dream on the milk string! As a young cow, she has really come into herself as a working girl producing 8 gallons a day!

You will notice there aren’t many full body pictures of Mabel, that’s because she is the absolute sweetest heifer in the world and as soon as you go in the pen or up to the fence she gallops over to you and begs for some chin scratches. She is my heart heifer and I absolutely love her to pieces!!
Mabel has been here since she was less than a month old and was hand raised by us. She is fully trained and ready to start her big girl job as a milk cow in a little over a year. Yes I start them very young and fully believe this sets them up for success once they freshen.
It’s been so fun watching her grow up and I can’t wait to see her in the future. I just know she’s going to be the best cow around!
